ProofPair

Help & Support

ProofPair turns the before and after photos already on your iPhone into one branded PDF job report you can send to your customer before you leave the driveway.

App: ProofPair for iPhone, version 1.0.0 (1) · requires iOS 18.5 or later · English
Contact: info@algoriel.io

Create your first report

  1. Take your photos first. Use the iPhone Camera app as usual — a photo before you start and a photo after you finish, for each part of the job. ProofPair has no camera of its own in this version; it uses the photos already in your library.
  2. Open ProofPair and tap “New Job.” Enter the customer name (required), and optionally the address, a job title and the date.
  3. Tap “Add Task.” Pick the BEFORE photo and the AFTER photo, and write a note describing what you did. Notes can be as long as you need — they are never cut off in the report. Save, and repeat for each part of the job.
  4. Tap “Create Report.” ProofPair builds the PDF on your iPhone and shows you a preview.
  5. Tap “Share.” The standard iOS share sheet opens with a file named Customer-YYYY-MM-DD-report.pdf, ready for Messages, WhatsApp, Mail or Files.

Put your business on every report

Go to Settings → Business Profile and add your business name, phone number, e-mail address, a licence or insurance line, and your logo. They are printed in the header of every report you make from then on. You can create reports without a profile, but the header is what makes the document look like yours.

Paper size

Reports print on US Letter or A4. ProofPair picks a sensible default from your device region (Letter in the US and Canada, A4 elsewhere) and you can change it any time in Settings → Paper Size. The change applies to the next report you create.

The free report, and what Pro unlocks

Free, with no time limit:

ProofPair Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks reports for all of your other jobs. Nothing else is ever locked: capturing, organising, searching and your profile stay free.

Notes on the free report:

Buying and restoring Pro

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Use Apple's request-a-refund process for your Apple Account. If Apple refunds the purchase, Pro turns off again.

Your data and deleting it

Everything — jobs, photos, your business profile — is stored only on this iPhone. ProofPair has no account, no servers, no analytics and no tracking, and it asks for no permissions: photos are chosen through Apple's photo picker, which hands the app only the photos you select. When a photo is imported it is resized and re-encoded, which removes its location and camera metadata; only the original capture time is kept, so it can be printed on the report.

Deleting data does not cancel your Pro purchase — Apple keeps it, and Restore Purchases brings it back. Full details: privacy policy (https://proofpair.algoriel.io/privacy.html).

Frequently asked questions

Does it work without a signal?
Yes. Creating jobs, importing photos, generating and sharing PDFs all work fully offline. The only thing that needs a connection is buying or restoring Pro, because that goes through the App Store.
Can I take photos inside the app?
Not in this version. Use the Camera app, then pick the photos in ProofPair.
Does the report show where the photos were taken?
No. Location data is removed from photos on import, by design. The report shows the photo's capture date and the job details you entered.
Can I re-send a report months later?
Yes — that is what the job history is for. Search by customer name, address or job title, open the job, and create the report again. With Pro this works for every job; on the free tier it works for your one free-report job.
Can I edit a job after making a report?
Yes. Edit the job or its tasks and create the report again; the new PDF reflects the changes.
Is it available on iPad or Android?
No. This version is iPhone only, on iOS 18.5 or later.
Do you see my photos or my customers' details?
No. Nothing is sent to us. The only thing that leaves your iPhone is a PDF you choose to share.

Still stuck?

E-mail info@algoriel.io and tell us what you were doing, what you expected and what happened. Your iPhone model, your iOS version and the app version from Settings → Version help a lot. Please do not send us customer photos or personal details — a description or a screenshot with names covered is enough.
