1. Who we are

ProofPair is published by Fatih Çalışan, Ferhatpaşa Mh. Gülendam Sk. B72 D:1, Çatalca / İstanbul, Türkiye (“we”, “us”). We are the controller for the limited processing described below. You can reach us at info@algoriel.io.

This policy is published at https://proofpair.algoriel.io/privacy.html and the same information is available inside the app, offline, under Settings → Privacy.

2. The short version

ProofPair keeps your jobs, photos and business details only on your iPhone. It has no account, no sign-in, no servers of ours, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not receive your jobs, your photos, your customers' names or your reports. The only thing that leaves your iPhone is a PDF report that you choose to share.

3. What ProofPair stores on your device

• Jobs: customer name, address, job title, job date, and the notes you write for each task.
• Photos: the before and after photos you pick with Apple's photo picker. ProofPair copies each photo into its own storage and re-encodes it as a JPEG whose longest edge is at most 2048 pixels. Re-encoding removes the photo's metadata, including any GPS location and camera information. The only value read from the original photo is the capture time (EXIF DateTimeOriginal), kept so it can be printed on your report.
• Business profile: business name, phone number, e-mail address, licence or insurance line and the logo image you choose.
• App settings: your paper size choice (Letter or A4) and a record of which single job used your free report.

Generated PDF reports are written to a temporary folder so they can be previewed and shared. They are not kept as part of your saved data.

4. What ProofPair does not do

• It does not ask for any runtime permission. Photos are chosen through Apple's system photo picker (PHPicker), which hands the app only the photos you select; ProofPair never gets access to your photo library.
• It contains no networking code of ours — it does not send your data anywhere and works fully offline. The only network activity comes from Apple's own App Store framework when you open the upgrade screen, buy Pro, or restore a purchase.
• It contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, attribution or tracking SDKs, and does not use the advertising identifier. ProofPair does not track you across apps or websites.
• It has no account, so there is nothing for us to hold about you: no username, no password, no e-mail address, no device identifier.

5. What leaves your iPhone

Only the PDF reports you choose to send. When you tap Share, iOS opens the standard share sheet and you decide where the file goes — for example Messages, WhatsApp, Mail or Files. From that point the report is handled by the app or service you picked and by the person you sent it to, under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not involved in that transfer and never see the file.

Because the report contains your customer's name, address and photographs of their property, please only send it to people who should receive it, and make sure you are allowed to photograph the property and anyone visible in the photos.

6. Purchases

ProofPair Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, processed by Apple, not by us. We never see or receive your payment details. ProofPair asks Apple's App Store framework whether this Apple Account owns the Pro purchase and unlocks the feature based on Apple's verified answer. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's own privacy policy and terms. Apple provides us with aggregated sales and download reports that do not identify individual customers.

7. Device backups

If you have enabled a device backup (for example iCloud Backup or an encrypted computer backup), that backup may include ProofPair's data, exactly as it does for other apps. The backup is between you and Apple (or your computer); we have no access to it.

8. Children

ProofPair is a work tool for tradespeople and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because the app collects no data at all. It contains no ads, no user-generated content feed and no communication features.

9. How long data is kept, and how to delete it

• Delete one item: delete a task or a job inside the app; the photo files belonging to it are removed from disk as well.
• Delete everything: Settings → Delete All Data → Delete Everything permanently removes all jobs, all photos, your business profile and the free-report record from this iPhone.
• Delete the app: removing ProofPair from your iPhone also removes its stored data.

Deleting data inside the app does not cancel your Pro purchase. Apple keeps the record of that purchase for your Apple Account, and Restore Purchases brings it back.

Because the data never reaches us, we cannot delete, export or correct it on your behalf — the controls above are the complete mechanism.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data such as access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction of processing, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Local law also gives you the right to complain to a supervisory authority (for example the ICO in the United Kingdom, the OPC in Canada, or the OAIC in Australia).

In ProofPair's case these rights are satisfied directly on your device: the data is in your hands, we hold no copy, we sell no personal information and we share none with third parties. 11. International transfers

We operate no servers for ProofPair and receive no personal data from the app, so no international transfer of your ProofPair data takes place through us. Purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's own arrangements.

12. Security

Your data is stored inside the app's private container on your iPhone and is protected by the device's own protections, including your passcode and iOS file protection. Keeping your iPhone updated and locked with a passcode is the most effective protection for it. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change how ProofPair handles data, we will update this page and the in-app privacy text together, and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will also be described in the app's release notes.
